Photoshop Tutorial Selfie Photo Editing Soft Contrast Effects
Before
After
Hello, friends :)
Happy New Year 2016
I am very grateful
In photo editing tutorials this time we will try to create the effect of a soft contrast
with the color of the cinematic movie scenes simple as this
The end result will be like this
You can also edit your selfie photos with this technique
Actually, this photo is good
But in my opinion, this photo is too over-exposure
I'll try to make this photo in order to bring up the soft contrast effect
First, make selection in photos
For the basic techniques of selection in the photo, check the link in the description of this video (:
Use the Quick Selection Tool
Now, I will make a selection
If done
Duplicate layer. Press CTRL + J
When viewed backdrop disappear like this
Now make selection also for the background
We don't need to re-selection
We just need to duplicate the selection of Layer 1
How: Press and hold CTRL + Click on Layer 1
Until the selection to appear back
Then, make the selection expand
Click Select
Modify
Expand
Invert selection to exit
click Select ---- Inverse
Then highlight the background layer
and press CTRL + J
Now we have two background
Which one blank background without a person, like this
Okay!
Add Blur effect in this layer
To bring photographic soft contrast effects and depth of field, in this photo
Click Filter select Blur
Then choose, I choose Shape Blur
You can also choose other blur effect according to your liking
And I chose the Bull's Eye
I set Radius: 14 Pixels
For Radius customized with your photos. I only use a small radius for this setting
Due to the background of the photos that I used are blur
So that the image contrast is stronger
Add settings [Brightness & Contrast]
Click the icon [Create new fill layer or adjustments] in the bottom of the layers palette
Then, select [Brightness & Contrast]
Make your photos look slightly darker
Have started to get a contrast to the background
But the detail in the hair to be lost
How to overcome :
Use the Eraser Tool
With Opacity small size -/+ 42%
Remove the color of the [Brightness & Contrast] on the hair
Until details of hair appear back
Then, to make the colors stronger. We use Exposure
Click the icon [Create new fill layer or adjustments] in the bottom of the layers palette
and select Exposure
This setting is not standard, make your photos look more powerful color
The next step, add Curves
Click the icon [Create new fill layer or adjustments] in the bottom of the layers palette
and select Curves
At Preset select Darker
Curves setting is only necessary for the background
So we remove
Use the Eraser Tool
Opacity: -/+ 42%
Then remove the curves on the hair and entire body
Then add, click the icon [Create new fill layer or adjustments] in the bottom of the layers palette
and select Hue/Saturation
Create a color slightly dim, like this
And change the layer into: Multiply
Background already looks good. But in parts of the body appear darker
To overcome it. Deleted.
How to delete it does not need to repeat all over again
Use this trick:
Press and hold CTRL + click on the layer mask thumbnail [Curves]
Until selection, appear again
Then, Invert selection
Click Select ---- Inverse
Then, on the layer mask thumbnail [Hue Saturation]
Don't forget to use the Eraser Tool
Then click Delete/Backspace (on your keyboard)
Combine all the layers, into a new layer
Press SHIFT + CTRL + ALT + E
Then add the Sharpen filter settings
Click Filter select Smart Sharpen
Settings -/+
and change the layer to: Darker
For background already looks good
But on the face looks a bit darker
For the last step, we make adjustment
Use the Pen Tool
Then make a selection on the skin
Such as the hands, face and head
Then inside the selection Pen Tool
Right-click
and select Make Selection
click the icon [Create new fill layer or adjustments] in the bottom of the layers palette
Select [Brightness & Contrast]
Create your photo brighter when compared to the previous
Then, adjust the red color of the skin
Again, click the icon [Create new fill layer or adjustments] in the bottom of the layers palette
And choose Hue/Saturation
Click the upper right corner, in the layers palette. And select Create Clipping Mask
at Master
select Reds
Lower Saturation
Oke, All Done!! ((:
